Another interesting place to visit is the National Ranching Heritage Center, a museum of ranching history, located on the campus of Texas Tech University. If you have kids, don't miss Prairie Dog Town, located in Mackenzie Park, and the Science Spectrum Museum. The new Adventure Park with Zip Line. Joyland Amusement Park.

If you can make a 3 1/2 - 4 hour day trip to New Mexico, visit Carlsbad Caverns or Ruidoso.
