It's approximately 1/2 mile to the Surfside Pier, Scotty's Beach Bar, Neal and Pam's Bar and Grill, Bubba's Fish Shack, River City Cafe, and other shops and restaurants.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home. There is also a grilling and picnic area for cookouts by the beach. "Boston Commons" has an indoor heated pool, an elevator, and free wireless Internet.
