THE SETTING — TRUE WATERFRONT

Galleon Bay is one of the few complexes that sits directly on the Laguna Madre waterway.
From your private patio, you’ll enjoy open bay views and some of the best sunsets on the island.

Community boat docks (first come, first serve) accommodate shallow sport-style boats. Guests frequently fish right from the docks — an easy and memorable experience for kids without booking a charter.

By the pool and jacuzzi area Galleon Bay does have community use charcoal pits or BBQ grills - just bring your own charcoal they are first come, first serve.

If you prefer to head out with a guide, we’re happy to recommend trusted local bay captains who know how to find fish.

The calm bay waters also make this an ideal location for stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking at sunset and there are places to rent them on the Island – just ask us for info

LAYOUT & LIVING

Located on the 3rd floor with elevator access, this full 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo is designed for families who want space to spread out after a day on the water or at the beach.

The living room opens directly to the patio and water views — perfect for movie nights or relaxing after fishing.

Smart HD flat screen TVs are located in the living room and both bedrooms.
High-speed WiFi is provided (island-wide outages can occur; a mobile hotspot is recommended if work is required).

KITCHEN & DINING

The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped and ready for family meals.
Cooking at home not only saves time and money — it adds to the experience of staying on the bay.

The layout keeps the family in view while you prepare meals. Washer and dryer are located inside the condo for added convenience.

Only one parking permit is provided. It must be displayed at all times or vehicles will be towed. Additional guest parking is not available though sometimes nearby on W. Polaris street is free City parking. The post office nearby also can work.

BEACH ACCESS

The public beach access is approximately 2.5 blocks away so many guests bring a wagon to make transporting gear easier.

This location allows you to enjoy both the calm bay waters and the Gulf beach during the same stay.

DISCOUNTS

Discounts are available for off season stays Sept 15 to Dec 15; veterans & military, as well as current Tackle Football coaches in the State of Texas at any level (our sons play for Lake Travis in Austin). Simply inquire as well as for pool & hot tub hours.

IMPORTANT BOOKING DETAILS

• Primary guest must be 23+
• Under 23 allowed only with prior approval and refundable damage deposit
• Strict cancellation policy
• Digital rental agreement + photo ID required
• Door codes sent by 3 PM on arrival day
• In March only: $25 per person HOA wristband fee (pre-collected)
• Parking permit required (1 max; no additional guest parking available)

No smoking - No parties - No exceptions

DOG POLICY

• Up to 1 dog allowed
• $75 cleaning fee required
• No exceptions. – if not disclosed we are required to evict - sorry

SUPPLIES & NOTES

• Starter packs of toiletries and cleaning supplies provided (not replenished nor unlimited please travel prepared)
• Beach towels and toys not provided. There are several places to rent chairs and umbrellas up and down the beach for $50 for the day. Just ask for the info happy to provide.
• WiFi is the highest available on the island but can be spotty during peak usage please have a hot spot ready on your cell phone if important work to complete

Cancel your reservation less than 1 days after booking and you'll get a full refund. Cancel your reservation more than 30 days before arrival and you'll get a full refund. If you cancel after that, you won't get a refund.
