Kitchen/ Dining Room:
The open concept kitchen and dining area at Wandering Bear Lodge is designed for easy gatherings and shared meals. The fully stocked kitchen provides everything you need to prepare home cooked meals, from quick breakfasts before heading out to full family dinners after a day of exploring the Smokies. Just steps away, the spacious dining table comfortably seats eight guests, creating the perfect place for meals, game nights, or planning the next day's adventures. The kitchen island offers additional seating for two, making it a great spot for morning coffee or casual conversation while meals are being prepared. For families traveling with little ones, a highchair is also provided, making it easy for everyone, including the smallest guests, to join in at the table.

The second living area at Wandering Bear Lodge doubles as a fun and relaxing game room, offering the perfect space for entertainment and downtime. Keep an eye out for local wildlife as well, as it is not uncommon to spot the occasional wandering bear passing through the area, adding to the authentic mountain experience.

You'll be a short drive from Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, The Island, WonderWorks, the Titanic Museum, the LeConte Center, and endless options for shopping, dining, and live entertainment in Pigeon Forge. When you're ready for outdoor adventure, a scenic drive will take you to Cades Cove and into the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, and unforgettable mountain views.

Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.

Check-In:
4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will email you the door code, which we will resend a week before your stay.
