Jewel by the Sea is a beautiful home. Your vacation begins as you step inside the spacious open kitchen/living room and envision your family hanging out and having a wonderful time! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities you need to prepare meals during your stay. The living room has comfortable seating for everyone. This home has WIFI. You can stream your favorite shows or movies on the Smart TV or stay connected to Social media. Just log in using the password located inside the home. The bedrooms are very accommodating and comfortable. The primary bedroom has a king and an attached bathroom. Bedroom two has a queen, and bedroom three has 2 full/full bunks. Both bathrooms have step-in showers.
Outside, you will find ample seating on the deck where you can enjoy sipping that morning cup of coffee, watching a breathtaking sunrise, and cool beverages while viewing our glorious sunsets.
Downstairs, you can hang out in the shade at the Bar with plenty of seating, or gather around the table while waiting on the family "Grill Master" to charcoal something yummy on the grill! When the sand and waves call, you are just a walk, golf cart, or vehicle ride away from the shore. Be sure to grab your sunscreen! After a fun day enjoying the sand and sun, rinse off in the downstairs shower. You will discover a "Gem" in Jewel by the Sea!
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay. We cannot offer refunds for the disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rent. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for the renter's use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house, and standard beds are made for your arrival. Linens will be provided in the home for all sleeper sofas, trundles, and pull-out bedding. Paper products, other than toilet tissue and paper towels, and cleaning supplies are not included.
We provide a starter pack consisting of the items below. Please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tabs (if applicable)
2 laundry tabs (if applicable)
1 small bottle of dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar of hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest

All our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
