About the Space:
Blizzard’s LightHouse is located waterfront on the fingers in Port Isabel, just minutes from the beaches of South Padre Island. This newly & fully remodeled 4+ bedroom home with 4 baths that spans 3 levels, has a private pool, multiple “over the water decks” plus a patio on every level in addition to a rooftop patio with views of SpaceX Launches or a spectacular sunset.

Ideally situated for a couple of families to split and for fishing enthusiasts alike, you will have the use of 2 boat slips, one shallow water and one deeper water. While no lift is provided, being able to put your boat or jet skis in at the nearby at the White Sands marina or the boat ramp 2 blocks away and leave it in is much more convenient. Please note we do not provide bumpers nor boat lifts so come somewhat prepared if you do have a boat. Inquire on truck/trailer parking as none is provided on property.

No boat? No Problem! Fish from the docks - especially at night the fishing can be good on live bait as we do have flood lights that automatically come on. Enjoy views up and down the channel, the crystal clean pool, or BBQ (bring charcoal) right off the water with the “Green Egg” BBQ pit provided.

The ground floor has a completely separate entrance off the pool with a queen bed, fold down couch & side bed, plus its own efficiency kitchen and full bathroom. As you enter the grand foyer, you will be greeted by 2 staircases up, with the 2nd floor featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open concept kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances features all the pots, pans, dishes, etc you need to eat every meal if you so choose right at the property for both convenience and to save money.

The master suite features a soaking tub and dual head shower with a private patio overlooking the water. If you walk to the rooftop level, you get a great view of all of Port Isabel, channels, and South Padre Island. The exact bedding is two king beds, three queens, two singles, and two smaller size couches that full down into beds. We do also provide a queen size airbed. Please bring extra bedding if you plan on using the fold down couches or the airbed. Outside you will enjoy the pool that flows right to a large deck with patio, the docks, the green egg bbq & areas for sunbathing. All towels & linens are provided.

Property is professionally managed by local South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd with an office open 7 days per week 9 am to 5 pm. We do offer free linen exchange for stays over 3 nights. You must read & agree to ALL house rules prior to booking - failing to do so is not a reason for a cancellation nor refund request so please review. The max occupancy is 18 people and again, babies & infants are considered in this head count. A max of 4 full sized vehicles are allowed and that includes a golf cart. If you park extra cars or on the side of the street you will get towed at your own expense. There can be street parking but it is not allowed to park in front of anyone’s mailbox.

We provide an electronic code to enter the property prior to 3 pm day of check in to the number on file, not before. Check out is 11 am. You must have completed the E signature rental agreement and attached a photo of your picture ID, read the house rules. If you are not 25 years of age you MUST contact us prior to booking to fulfill possible additional requirements of an additional refundable damage deposit. This is not a party house. We will not provide door code for entry without the digital rental agreement being completed as well as the uploaded photo ID - these being done nor will we offer a refund for not agreeing to do this just to clarify.

We provide all bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, basic soaps & shampoos and a starter pack of dishwasher pods, trash bags, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener. These supplies are a starter pack and not unlimited nor resupplied. We do not provide laundry detergent though a washer and dryer is provided at the property. Please bring extra bedding if you plan on using the couch, airbed, or sleeping on a couch in general. We do allow up to (2) dogs however a small additional cleaning fee will apply. The “Green Egg” BBQ Grill you will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid for, though there is a very close Walmart.
