  • Los Cabos I, Unit 5 sits at 105 E Tarpon on the east side of Padre Blvd — the beach side — less than half a block from the water in the heart of South Padre Island's entertainment district. Two bedrooms, two baths, up to 8 guests, with a king bed in each bedroom and a community pool right in the courtyard. The bars, live music, and restaurants that make South Padre what it is are all on foot from the front door.

  • The open-concept kitchen flows directly into the dining and living room, keeping the group in one space whether someone is cooking or watching the game. The layout is comfortable and practical —while not a new luxury remodel, it is very well set up and professionally cleaned for every stay.

  • A starter supply of coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, soaps, shampoos, dishwasher pods, and trash bags is included. These are starter amounts and are not replenished.

  • Clean, crisp & fresh towels and linens are provided on all standard beds. Laundry detergent is not provided — bring your own. Note that BBQ and grills are not permitted at this complex, but open-container and cooler-friendly beach days are the norm on South Padre Island; just leave the glass behind. Charcoal grill are allowed on the public beaches.

  • FIVE REASON TO BOOK:

    • Being on the east side of Padre Blvd is the detail that matters here: you walk out and head straight to the beach rather than crossing four lanes of traffic. The entire entertainment strip — live music venues, sunset margarita bars, late-night kitchens, and waterfront restaurants — is walkable. Most guests leave their car parked and never move it until check-out day.
    • A king bed in each bedroom is a sleeping setup that is genuinely hard to find at this location and price point. Two couples traveling together each get a full king to themselves. For larger groups, the living room adds a fold-down couch (full size) and a lofted twin bed, and there is a provided airbed as well. While we allow 8 less people than that is optimal. Bring your own bedding for the fold-down and/or the airbed - all other beds all bedding provided
    • Two full bathrooms mean two couples or families are not sharing a single sink in the morning. Both are full baths, so the group can split naturally without anyone waiting in the hall.
    • The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and everything needed to cook instead of eating out every meal — a meaningful way to save on a longer stay. The stackable washer and dryer means you pack lighter and leave with clean clothes. Smart TVs are in every bedroom and the living room, and WIFI is included throughout.
    • The courtyard pool belongs to an 8-unit complex, which means it stays quieter and less crowded than the resort pools on the island. It is steps from the front door and a natural place to decompress between beach sessions.
  • EXACT BEDDING:

    • Bedroom 1: King bed. Bedroom 2: King bed. Living room: fold-down couch (full size) and lofted twin bed. Bonus airbed with pump also provided — bring your own bedding for the fold-down, the loft, and the airbed. The 8-guest maximum includes infants and children.
  • PARKING

    • Free off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles front-to-back is included — unlike hotels on the island that charge for every car. Two parking permits are issued. No additional guest parking is available at the complex. A golf cart counts as a vehicle toward the 2-car limit.
  • A NOTE ON THE SECOND FLOOR

    • Unit 5 is on the second floor — one flight of stairs with no elevator, so keep that in mind
    • The upside to a 2nd floor is real: no guests above you means noticeably less noise throughout your stay. If stairs are a concern for anyone in your group, feel free to reach out before booking and we can point you toward a ground-floor option.
  • SPRING BREAK AND EASTER

    • During March and Easter week, the Los Cabos complex requires a security wristband per person at $25. This is a complex/HOA fee, not one we control. Please factor it into your planning.
  • Please note we have multiple units and can rent you more than one. Inquire — we would love to help you out!

  • High-speed WIFI is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down.

  • DISCOUNTS — JUST ASK

    • Reduced rates for off-season stays (September 15 – December 15), veterans and active military, and current Texas tackle football coaches (our sons play for Lake Travis in Austin — Go Cavs!). Send a message and ask.
  • POLICIES

    • Primary guest must be 25 or older no exceptions. You must read and agree to all house rules prior to booking — we are happy to answer any questions before you arrive. Strict cancellation policy applies. We do require a digital E-sign rental agreement and a pic of your photo ID to check you in. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time. No pets. The property is security patrolled

Cancel your reservation less than 1 days after booking and you'll get a full refund. Cancel your reservation more than 30 days before arrival and you'll get a full refund. If you cancel after that, you won't get a refund.
