Gemini Retreat - Amazing Desert Night Skies

The Gemini Retreat is a great spot for your desert getaway and stargazing. The thoughtful decor brings both retro and modern styles together in a way that will make your trip fun and comfortable. The open layout of the kitchen, dining and living area is the perfect setting for making a meal at home with friends or family.

• THE SPACE

  • There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 people; a king bed in one room and a queen bed in the other. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable, private and relaxing.

• THE OUTDOORS

  • The property has a wonderful back patio with hammocks for an afternoon nap or a seating area to enjoy beautiful sunrises with a cup of coffee. There is also a picnic table to enjoy a meal or two in the desert air.

• OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

  • Professionally managed by Property Manager
  • There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

• STAR GAZING

  • For viewing of the night sky, it is best to keep all lighting to a minimum. This includes lighting inside the house that can bleed out the night sky. Moonless nights are of course the best.

• AC/COOLING

  • The house is cooled with zone controlled AC. With three separate units in the house, you can control the temperature of each bedroom as well as the main living space.

• FIRE

  • Due to the location and a current fire ban, there is a strict no outside fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outdoor wooden fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire means, your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.

• GUESTS

  • You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and overnight guests.

• IDENTITY VERIFICATION

  • You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government-issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.

By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.
