Watch twinkling lights on the bay in the evening from this upper story loft, or during the day, view waves, whales and fishing boats on the water.

  • This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is a perfect place to enjoy the best of the Monterey Peninsula, since it’s conveniently located near some of the region’s prime attractions, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Monarch Sanctuary, and Asilomar. Stunning views from the edge of the bay are available from the nearby rec trail, which links Pacific Grove with Monterey, Seaside and Marina, for those who want to bike or walk around the area. It's easy to park the car and walk to nearby attractions!

  • Monterey and Cannery Row are just a few minutes away by car, and it’s just a 10-minute drive to a variety of other attractions, such as quaint Carmel-by-the-Sea or world-class golf and sightseeing in Pebble Beach®. Wine tasting and winery tours in Carmel Valley are just 20 minutes away, and the natural wonders of Big Sur are about 40 minutes away. This is a perfect home base for day-tripping up and down the central California Coast from the San Francisco Bay area to the north and Big Sur and Paso Robles to the south.

Living Space

  • The elevated 450-square-foot flat with comfortable, eclectic beach decor offers views from the living room through large picture windows that face the bay. You also have access to a small fenced patio at the back that allows a warm, private spot in the sunshine where you can enjoy lunch al fresco or a glass of wine in the evenings, with room to stow beach gear or bicycles as needed.

  • Guests enter through a gate that takes them down a brick pathway to the entry door. Up a flight of stairs you'll find a cozy living space that blends living room, kitchen and dining areas. Easy-care hardwood-look flooring, a comfortable couch and club chair, a 30-inch HDTV and a wooden table for two can be found here, as well as original beach and nautical artwork that perfectly captures the bay-side mood.

  • Décor in soothing tones of the sea further enhance the relaxed ambiance, and large picture windows look out toward the bay, providing views day or night.

Kitchen and Dining

  • The compact kitchen contains everything you need for meal prep, with an electric stove, full size oven, deep stainless sink with pull-out faucet and microwave. Please note there is no dishwasher.
  • A small table perfect for two is immediately next to the kitchen.
  • When the chef wants to take the night off, just step outside and walk over to the Beach House Restaurant or other nearby eateries.

Bedroom and Bathroom

  • The bedroom features a queen bed with metal headboard and quality bedding in tones of aqua, sand and gray.

  • The en suite bath features stone tile, a vanity with granite countertop, a shell-framed mirror, and a shower-over-tub combination with a glass door.

  • Behind the home, the small patio features a metal bistro table with seating for four, inside a fenced private courtyard.

  • A washer and dryer are available near the downstairs entryway. One dedicated parking space is directly in front of the home, and more parking is available on adjacent Ocean View Boulevard.

  • Note: There is a lower level studio unit attached to this rental that is occasionally visited by the Homeowner. There is a separate entrance around the back so your privacy will be assured.

  • This vacation home is professionally managed by Property Manager. With over 15 years of property management experience, we strive to provide environments that nurture and inspire with all the comforts of home.
