As the sun sets, there is a tower of orange light glowing above the mountain and reflecting off that describes my first night on Fish Lake and the one I will always remember.

This rustic cabin, nestled on the enchanting Fish Lake, seamlessly blends with its magical surroundings, offering a retreat that transports you back in time to the leisurely days of summer vacations at the family cabin. Note that Fish Lake is primarily intended for fishing, and swimming is not recommended.

• In November 2024, Doc Roy's Legacy underwent a thoughtful kitchen and bathroom remodel, adding modern comforts to its timeless charm. The kitchen now features brand-new stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, quartz countertops, and custom cabinetry. The bathroom has been fully updated with a spacious tiled shower and luxurious heated tile floors, enhancing your stay with contemporary conveniences.

• Escape the distractions of daily life and bring your special someone to Doc Roy's Legacy. Pack a few games, your hiking boots, and immerse yourself in an opportunity to recharge your batteries and uncover new aspects of your companion. If you find a need for TV time, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and streaming capability is available. The loft, accessible by steep ship's ladder-like steps, offers a queen bed with a captivating view overlooking the lake, or alternatively, you can unwind on the remarkably cozy queen sofa sleeper (bedding available upon request).
