This lovely home on Live Oak Street, Green Turtle Cottage, is in keeping with the overall charm of historic Beaufort, which is made up of period homes, white picket fences, and old live oaks. The house itself has vintage appeal from the get-go with a welcoming front porch perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings. The interior is beautifully updated with hardwood floors and white walls for a fresh and inviting feel. Luxe, modern details like the gorgeous black-and-white, custom tile in the bathrooms and diagonal checkerboard slate in the kitchen are both classic and crisp. When you’re ready to venture out, the French bakery, Les Ciseaux, is only three blocks away, where croissants and baguettes are baked fresh daily. The Olde Beaufort Farmer’s Market is just beyond and is a favorite for locals and more.

The center of downtown is Front Street only minutes from the front door. Stroll along Taylor’s Creek, and watch for ferry boats, dolphins, and wild horses across the waterway, visit downtown's boutiques and art galleries, and enjoy the many delicious restaurants, bars and cafes.
