The Malabear Cabin is the perfect custom mountain escape chalet nestled quietly in the trees and the ultimate space for those looking to experience a one-of-a-kind alpine vacation at Big Bear! Located in the shay meadows area of Bear City, you will be within minutes of all local activities in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood.

Our freshly furnished and ultra-spacious two-story chalet features all that you need for a memorable vacation including fine amenities and modern comforts as well as your own private hot tub to relax and enjoy.

You will feel like you have your own private lodge to yourselves for the trip. From the moment you enter your home, you will be immediately greeted with gorgeous hardwood floors and two of the four bedrooms on the entry-level. As you head upstairs, you will enter a large open space naturally lit living room and kitchen, complete with your own pool table. Ultra-comfy sitting couches are conveniently placed near the toasty wood-burning fireplace in the second-level living room area. The flat-screen Streaming TV is on hand with complimentary hi-speed WIFI internet for your enjoyment. You will absolutely love this spot to snuggle up and pop on a movie or watch the snow falling outside from the many windows in the home. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.)

The open space floor plan leads right into the dining area and kitchen, perfect for entertaining a family vacation with custom barstools for eating, socializing, or enjoying the pool game going on. The chef of your group will absolutely love preparing your home-cooked meals here at Malabear Cabin in the adorable kitchen. Custom cabinets are stocked with all that you need including cookware and utensils while stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher provide convenience for clean up.

Your home provides the perfect amount of space with two bedrooms on each level, each with a Streaming TV in the entry-level master, and warm linens, blankets, and pillows when you arrive. Your group will love the modern showers, plus fresh shower towels are provided.

Head outside to find the most relaxing and serene alpine environment for you to unwind and take in the nature of Big Bear. The owners have supplied a propane BBQ to grill out and relax in the evenings. Head over to your own private hot tub out back where you can enjoy soaking up your fun day of adventure out on the lake or mountain.
