Should you decide to utilize GPS as opposed to our directions you are very likely to get lost and we won't be able to determine where you are even if you are lucky enough to have signal to call us.

Trails End is convenient to Blue Ridge with all of its' shopping, restaurants, and Scenic Train. Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee river and horseback riding are just minutes away. You are also just a short drive from Ellijay and the North GA Apple festival.   • We drain/clean/refill the hot tub after each guests leave. Bromine is added based on the size of the spa and normal usage. Excessive usage may require additional chemicals. It is recommended that you shower prior to entering the hot tub for sanitary reasons.

Check in is anytime after 4pm. Check out is at 10am Please check out through the Echo Dot in the Cabin.

There is a lock box across from the front door. The code is 854. Always put the key back in the lock box anytime you leave the property.

Directions from Atlanta to Trail’s End

  1. Take I-75 North towards Marietta. Just Beyond Marietta, take I575 North.
  2. I-575 ends just past Canton and becomes Hwy 515, which is a four-lane highway all the way to Blue Ridge. McDonald’s is on your left at the second red light (From the beginning of I-575 to the McDonald’s red light is approximately 72 miles).
  3. At this red light, turn on your trip odometer. Go straight through the red light on Highway 515 and go approximately 10 miles towards Blairsville. You will pass Maple Grove Road.
  4. Go to Mile Marker 15 and Turn left onto sparks Road (County Rd. 49)
  5. Go 2/10 of a mile and bear right at the fork onto Squirrel Hunting Road.
  6. Go 1.5 miles to Eagle Top Road, and turn right onto Eagle Top.
  7. Go 2/10 of a mile and turn right onto Hideaway Lane.
  8. Turn right on the 1st concrete driveway. Grey log cabin straight ahead

Chattanooga to Trail's End

  1. Take I-75 North to Exit 20, which puts you on the Highway 64 Bypass (APD 40) heading East.
  2. Continue east on APD 40* for roughly 7-8 miles and then get on the exit for Ocoee/ Highway 64 East on your right (there is no exit number). Note: If you wind up at a traffic light at Julian Drive, you have gone too far down APD 40.
  3. Stay straight on Highway 64 East for approximately 34 miles. You will go through the Ocoee River gorge along the way.
  4. Upon coming into Ducktown you will see a Hardees and a Chevron on your right; and an overpass just ahead. You will want to get on that overpass (Hwy 68) heading south
  5. Go 3.8 miles to the 3 way stop.
  6. Go Straight onto Highway 60. Take it all the way down to the intersection of Hwy 515/60 in Morganton to avoid Blue Ridge traffic.
  7. Take a left onto Hwy 515 North at the Red light.
  8. Go to Mile Marker 15 and Turn left on Sparks Road (County Rd. 49)
  9. Go 2/10 of a mile and bear right at the fork onto Squirrel Hunting Road.
  10. Go 1.5 miles to Eagle Top Road, and turn Right onto Eagle Top.
  11. Go 2/10 of a mile and turn right onto Hideaway Lane.
  12. Turn right on the 1st Concrete Driveway. Grey log cabin straight ahead

We suggest you bring personal grooming items, groceries (including spices and condiments along with the items below:

  • Insect repellent (summer)
  • Duraflame logs for wood-burning fireplaces only or campfire pits
  • Medicines (aspirin, ibuprofen, first aid kit, etc.)
  • Beach towels (for summer excursions to Lake Blue Ridge or whitewater rafting)

If you’re enjoying a lengthy stay, you may want to bring:

  • Additional hand soap and shampoo
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Coffee filters
  • Laundry detergent
  • Entertainment items (DVDs, CDs, books, board games, playing cards, puzzles)

We ask that you crate your pet any time you leave the property. Pet fee does NOT include any damage that might incur.
