*This cabin does not allow pets If an unauthorized pet is discovered in any cabin, a $200 fine will be charged. An additional cleaning fee up to $300 will be added if a pet is found in a home not designated as pet friendly.

High Ridge Lodge is about 15 minutes from rafting on the Ocoee River and the hiking trails at the Tanasi Trail system and the Ocoee Whitewater Center. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm. Check out is at 10 am. Please check out through the Echo Dot in the Cabin.

The physical address is 370 High Ridge Rd West Epworth Ga. There is a security gate. The gate code is 0370#. There is a keyless entry. The code is 1979. After you enter the code, press the lock button. (You may have to pull a little on the door while you do it). Wifi Password is H1ghR1dgeGuest.

We are not responsible for anything that is left by anyone in the Cabin. If there is anything mailed back, a non-refundable $20 charge in addition to postage. There is a bear box for trash. Everything must be bagged and tied before you place it in it. Also, the lid must be locked. If this is not done, there is a $75 fee. There is bear activity at the cabin, so please follow these instructions to prevent damage and mess.

*Trash is picked up on Monday.

Directions from Atlanta to High Ridge Lodge:

  1. Take I-75 North to Hwy 575 North.
  2. Go approximately 72 miles to Blue Ridge, Georgia.
  3. Take a left onto Hwy 5 North (Look for Home Depot and McDonald's on the left).
  4. Go roughly 3.7 miles to Hwy 2 on Left (Freeman Gas sits on the corner on the left and there is a sign for Adventures in Trail Rides).
  5. Stay on Hwy 2 for 6.5 miles to Old S.R. 2 (There's a horseback riding sign).
  6. Go right on SR 2. Stay on SR 2 for 6.6 miles to Jolley Rd on the left.
  7. Turn left on Jolley Rd and follow the one-lane gravel road for 0.4 mile High Ridge Rd on the right.
  8. Follow High Ridge Rd for 0.2 mile into the entrance of High Ridge West and follow it up the hill to the left to 370 High Ridge Rd West on the right.

Chattanooga to High Ridge Lodge:

  1. Take I-75 North to Exit 20, which puts you on the Highway 64 Bypass (APD 40) heading East.
  2. Continue east on APD 40* for roughly 7-8 miles and then get on the exit for Ocoee/ Highway 64 East on your right (there is no exit number). Note: If you wind up at a traffic light at Julian Drive, you have gone too far down APD 40.
  3. Stay straight on Highway 64 East for approximately 34 miles. You will go through the Ocoee River gorge along the way.
  4. Upon coming into Ducktown, you will see a Hardees and a Chevron on your right; and an overpass just ahead. You will want to get on that overpass (Hwy 68) heading south.
  5. Follow Hwy 68 3.8 miles to the 3-way stop in Copperhill.
  6. Go right on Hwy 5 (south) and follow it for 6.5 miles to Old S.R. 2 (There's a horseback riding sign).
  7. Go right on SR 2. Stay on SR 2 for 6.6 miles to Jolley Rd on the left.
  8. Turn left on Jolley Rd and follow the one-lane gravel road for 0.4 mile High Ridge Rd on the right.
  9. Follow High Ridge Rd for 0.2 mile into the entrance of High Ridge West and follow it up the hill to the left to 370 High Ridge Rd West on the right.

What should we bring?
We suggest you bring personal grooming items, groceries (including spices and condiments), along with the items below:

  • Insect repellent (summer)
  • Duraflame logs for wood-burning fireplaces only or campfire pits
  • Medicines (aspirin, ibuprofen, first aid kit, etc.)
  • Beach towels (for summer excursions to Lake Blue Ridge or whitewater rafting)

If you're enjoying a lengthy stay, you may want to bring:

  • Additional hand soap and shampoo
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Coffee filters
  • Laundry detergent
  • Entertainment items (DVDs, CDs, books, board games, playing cards, puzzles)
