Woodchuck Flat
The Woodchuck Flat is in a vintage RV park in the historic Noyo Harbor ~
The Woodchuck Flat is close to the water but does NOT have an ocean view!
NOTE: If you are bringing pet's , please let us know!
We do charge a fee of seventy five dollars per pet.
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck? Don’t worry, we won’t quiz you on it -- we don’t know either (but if you know, please tell us). What we do know is that this fully ADA compliant tiny home is the perfect place to kick back and relax as you enjoy the creature comforts of our fun and whimsical Woodchuck Flat vacation rental, situated in the heart of Noyo Harbor.
If you do require the use of the vertical platform lift for this property, please let us know so we can make sure it is active and completely ready for your arrival.
With the stunning beauty of the Pacific Ocean practically at your door, Woodchuck Flat is a lovely coastal haven. The home is designed to be ADA Compliant with a wheel chair lift, a full roll in shower, handrails and wide hallways..
When you make this woodland wonderland your home base for your stay, you have amazing
amenities within reach. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, long-awaited
vacation, or simply that you’re here on the magnificent Mendocino Coast, this vacation rental is
perfect for any occasion. Situated just feet from the water, Woodchuck Flat is conveniently
located, and wildlife aficionados will delight in witnessing the antics of seals, sea lions, and
waterfowl. Settle into the forest-inspired living room or dining room, or take a trip to one of the
coast’s oceanfront trails, many of which are paved and accessible.
In Noyo Harbor, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy world-class restaurants serving meals
caught right here on the coast (vegetarian choices also abound). Whether you prefer your fresh-
caught meal from the land or the sea, you’ll find plenty to tempt your palate.
You’ll have all you need for a leisurely and relaxed stay here, thanks to the luxurious
mattresses, comfy seating, fully-equipped kitchen, and other perks of this large-scale tiny home,
which feels bigger than its ~650 square feet. The home also has an access ramp and
wheelchair-friendly bathrooms, making it ADA Compliant.
If you prefer a quiet night in, the wildlife-inspired decor and the
sounds of real-life seals, seagulls, and other harbor denizens will make you feel close to nature.
If you want to go out on the town and let your own inner wild side come out, you can do that,
too.
The Noyo Headlands Coastal Trail and Pomo Bluffs Park are both minutes away by car, and
you’ll find lots of other trails and activities up and down the coast if you want to go in search of
adventure. Or, if you prefer to window-shop, you can visit our charming downtown business
district and find sea-inspired shops, outstanding art galleries, fashionable boutiques, and more.
As for stocking up on provisions, our region’s restaurants, bakeries, and markets offer
sustenance for hungry wanderers.
Your refuge awaits, so make like the woodland creatures and head to the beautiful and scenic
Mendocino Coast. We look forward to welcoming you!
NOTE: The tiny homes all have fully functioning lofts but they are basically for sleeping and or the kids. I mention this because the ceilings are very low, about 4 feet: FYI
Noyo Harbor
Noyo Harbor is an active, fully operational harbor, and is the first such harbor north of San
Francisco Bay. It was first established as a port for logging and fishing back in the late 1800s.
It’s a great place to explore and check out a historic, working harbor up close. There is plenty to
see and do (and eat). Noyo Harbor is home to some of the coast’s best restaurants, all within a
short distance of your vacation home, so you have easy access to great food, refreshing drinks,
spirited live music, and more.
The harbor is reminiscent of the famous Cannery Row in Monterey, with fisheries and a full
marina with classic and vintage fishing vessels of all types. The harbor is a wonderful place for
seal-watching, kayaking, or just sitting back and enjoying the foghorn and the coming and going
of boats.
There have been many classic movies and TV shows filmed here through the years, including
The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming! (1966), Humanoids from the Deep (1980),
Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn (1987), and the TV series Murder, She Wrote
(1980s).

time for bed, you will sleep well each and every night.

STUFF THAT'S GOOD TO KNOW
THIS RENTAL IS LOCATED IN AN RV PARK IN THE HARBOR
This rental is located in a classic, old school RV park that have been in the harbor for decades. I personally think that is adds to the rustic harbor experience but there are some who do not like being in an RV park. Please look through all of the photos on this rental so you can get an idea of what the park is like so you can make a personal determination if this is right for you .
IN THE HOUSE
The house binder on the kitchen counter has just about all the information you might possibly need and probably a little more. There are 2 Television sets in the home, one in the living room downstairs and another in the Beanbag room in the loft. The instructions for both TV's are in the binder towards the back for your convenience.

There are garbage cans for the trailer park at the inside entrance to the park on the left side when looking back from the unit.
