Ocean Lakes is currently making major improvements to the Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center.

As of September 8, 2026, the original indoor pool, outdoor pool, and miniature golf course are closed for construction. Ocean Lakes plans to use the Adventure River as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions permit. The Game Center and other campground amenities have separate operating schedules.

Ocean Lakes plans to open its expanded Sandy Harbor facilities by Memorial Day Weekend 2027, including a new resort-style outdoor pool, a much larger indoor pool, indoor kids' splash area, two indoor body slides, expanded Game Center space, and additional food-service facilities.
