Kitchen
The main entry of the house is into the kitchen. Compact, efficient and stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Note that there is not a dishwasher or microwave.
Living Area
The living and dining room adjoin the kitchen. Open the shades to take in the peaceful view of the woods outside. A sizable, cushy sofa is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. In the colder months, the wood stove adds warmth and ambiance to the space. The dining area has seating for 4 and can double as a working space.
Bathroom
The bathroom is on the main floor and has a toilet, sink and shower. While not big in size, it is functional and gets the job done.
Bedrooms
One bedroom with a full sized bed is on the main floor. The second bedroom is a LOFT bedroom. Guests must feel comfortable climbing a ladder staircase to the loft area. In the loft, you are welcomed by a plush, queen sized bed, a view of the living area and outdoors. For those who don't enjoy an early morning sunrise, curtains in front of the bed block the light to allow for some extra sleeping time.
Outdoors
The newly renovated back deck will be your favorite spot, all year round. With a charcoal BBQ grill, dining table and seating, you will harmonize with nature in comfort. Overlooking the pond and the lawn, the deck is the perfect spot for early morning coffee or evening firefly watching. Down a short flight of stairs, the lawn extends to the pond. A path leads you around the pond and through a small field, back around to the creek the runs behind the house. Refreshing mountain water from the stream feeds the pond. Invigorating in the warmer months for swimming. In the colder months, the stillness of the pond mirrors the surrounding woods and is a delight to see. Just next to the pond, there is a fire pit and seating area as well as a hammock. Bring a blanket outside and take a daytime siesta, or close your eyes at night and listen to the sound of peepers or the occasional owl.

Sunday Hollow is located in the country and part of country living is dealing with the critters who naturally live there, and may on occasion find their way into the house. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of nature. Mice can enter homes through small holes, even in clean homes. They are attracted to food, water, and shelter, and can find nesting sites in cluttered spaces like attics, basements, or crawl spaces. Our space may not be a fit for those who are phobic of these and other wildlife.
