About Stone Ledge

Stone Ledge was thoughtfully designed to celebrate its mountain setting. Carefully placed windows bring the outdoors in, framing expansive views and filling the home with natural light. Clean, modern lines and simple materials create an open, connected space where family and friends can gather with ease.
The home incorporates passive solar design for year-round comfort. Facing primarily south, it captures warmth through large windows during the day, while drapes help retain heat at night. In warmer months, windows on all sides open to invite cooling mountain breezes.

At the heart of the design are the signature stone ledge walls, blending layered stone with wood siding to reflect the surrounding Catskills landscape. These walls absorb warmth on sunny days—remaining pleasantly warm into summer evenings—and in winter, snow melts gently around them.

Layout & Living Spaces

Entry is through the side door, where you’ll find a coat closet, boot trays, and a convenient half bath.

The main living area is open concept, combining the kitchen, dining area, living room, and TV space. Sliding doors lead to the back deck with a BBQ grill and outdoor dining, as well as to the expansive front porch—perfect for relaxing and taking in the views.

The Grounds

Set on 20.5 private acres, the property invites exploration through wooded trails, stone walls, and fern-filled paths. Seasonal wild blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries grow throughout the land, while late summer and early fall bring apples and crab apples in the front yard (shared with the local deer). In winter, sled down the driveway or create your own path from the porch, then warm up by the fire pit with hot cocoa under the stars.

Wherever you are on the property, you’re surrounded by peaceful natural beauty—making Stone Ledge an ideal year-round mountain retreat.

Guests have full access to the home and property except for the locked owners closets.
