Owners Jennifer and Matt welcome you to their home. Originally from Los Angeles and New Zealand, Jennifer and Matt have happily called New York home for many years. Jennifer is an arts administrator in the non-profit music world and Matt is a jazz musician, and we're proud parents of a 6 year old. Music has allowed us to travel all over the world, but one of our favorite places on the planet is our home in the Catskills. We love music, good food, yoga and outdoor activities. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do! What we love most about the property and surrounding area is that it's a gorgeous escape in nature all year round. We love sharing our home with guests who appreciate nature and all of the gems that the Catskills have to offer, from hiking, to farmer's markets, to charming villages, to many outdoor activities. It's truly a perfect getaway for friends and family and we look forward to welcoming you!
The house is close to many attractions, shops and restaurants that you can enjoy for every season. Distances to popular vacation destinations and wedding venues are below. Guests also have access to our Guidebook with all of our recommendations.

You'll need a car for this area. The road to the house is a dirt road that is plowed by the local municipality if it snows. It is a lovely road to walk or run (2 miles roundtrip) and we have a path through the forest that's great for a gentle walk. You can walk, or cross-country ski through different towns on the Catskills Scenic Trail.
Snow is possible October through April. If you are unfamiliar with driving in snow research tips online.
A Few Things to Know Before You Arrive
Country Living & Nature
This home is tucked away in the peaceful countryside—part of its charm is being close to nature. While we treat the exterior regularly, occasional visits from insects or mice are possible in rural areas, even in very clean homes. If you're highly sensitive or phobic to wildlife, this space may not be the best fit.
Check-In & Check-Out
Standard check-in is 4 PM, and check-out is 11 AM.
Early arrivals or late departures may be possible for a fee with 24+ hours’ notice, depending on our cleaning schedule. Last-minute changes can’t always be accommodated.
Cell Service & Arrival Prep
Cell reception in the area can be limited. To stay connected, enable WiFi Calling on your phone. Be sure to save arrival instructions, door code, and WiFi info before traveling, as signal may be spotty en route.
Neighbor Access
Our neighbors have a right-of-way trail on the property to access their land. While it's used occasionally, you may see an ATV or snowmobile pass by depending on the season.
In the warmer months the nearby town of Stamford also has a community pool and two tennis courts - only 15 minutes away! Open July - Labor Day. Search for the Stamford NY Pool and Robinson Broadhurst Memorial Pool to get updated hours and dates.
Delaware County is a rural, mountainous area. October through April when snow and ice are likely, guests should have either winter tires or all season tires with adequate tread. AWD, FWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended. 2WD and RWD vehicles are generally not good vehicles for driving in snow or rain. Check the weather before arrival and plan your trip accordingly. If you are unfamiliar with driving in snow look for tips online at sources like AAA. The driveway is plowed, maintained and shoveled to the door. A shovel is provided for you so you can maintain a safe walkway during your stay.
