This warm and welcoming Catskills cabin is everything you'd hope to find in a mountain retreat. With an open-concept layout, it features a cozy living room with wood stove, kitchen, and dining area, plus 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms—perfect for families or small groups.

Just 9 miles from Plattekill and 11 miles from Belleayre, it's ideal for both ski season getaways and summer escapes filled with hiking, swimming, and outdoor fun!

Tucked near the end of a quiet, private dead-end road, this cozy cabin offers the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience. Surrounded by trees with views of the nearby mountains, it feels wonderfully remote—yet you're still just a short drive from shops, restaurants, and local attractions. While there are a few other homes on the road, you'll enjoy a peaceful and private setting.

• Exterior
  Set on 1.6 wooded acres with both open lawn and shaded spots, the property is great for relaxing or playing outside. The large front porch is perfect for sipping morning coffee or gathering with friends for evening cocktails. The flat lawn offers plenty of space for lawn games and summer fun.

• Interior
  Enter through the mudroom, which includes a washer and dryer—a convenient spot for storing coats and shoes, especially during muddy spring days or snowy winter months.

The open-concept living space includes:

• A country kitchen, fully stocked for preparing and serving meals

• A cozy living room with a large picture window for natural light

• A wood stove for warmth and ambiance

• Comfortable seating for movie nights or board games

• A dining room with a large table—perfect for meals, remote work, or game time

This is a perfect home base for every season—whether you're hiking and exploring in the summer, enjoying fall foliage, or hitting the slopes at nearby Plattekill and Belleayre in winter.

Guests have access to all areas that are not locked.

We are only an email or phone call away and are available as needed.

Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action as soon as possible but there is no one living on-site.

This cabin is located in the popular vacation destination of Roxbury, NY in Delaware County. Nearby towns include Margaretville, Arkville, Andes, Bovina Center, Pine Hill and Woodstock.

This is a true 4 season area. In the winter ski or snowboard at Belleayre Ski Center (10.4 miles), Plattekill Mountain (9.1 miles), Hunter Mountain (33 miles) and Windham (27.8 miles).

Spring is fishing season and there are plenty of public fishing streams and lakes in the area for a sportsman. Watch nature come back to life as the tree's and flowers begin to blossom.

Summer there is so much to do, something for everyone in your group. Hiking, biking, boating, antiquing, farmers markets, fairs and more. There are numerous wedding and party venues in the area (distances listed below) as well.

Fall is the place to be in the Catskills. Farmers Markets are bursting with bounty, pumpkin and apple picking, fall festivals and leaf peeping. Days are sunny and the air crisp, you will fall in love!

Transportation is necessary in this area. They may be little to no Uber or Lyft services.

Guests have access to a private driver recommendation - ask!

Snow is possible from October - April, if you are not familiar with driving in snow (on hills) search the internet for tips. AAA is a good resource.

The area is mountainous. During snow season AWD, FWD or 4x4 is recommended. In addition, tires should be checked to make sure they are snow or all weather and have enough tread for snow.

We want your stay to be enjoyable, stress-free, and memorable! To help ensure everything goes smoothly, please take a moment to review the following important information:

• Nature & Rural Life
  This home is located in the country, and with that comes the possibility of the occasional critter. While we treat the exterior to keep pests like insects and mice out, nature sometimes finds a way—even in very clean homes. If you’re uncomfortable with the idea of occasional wildlife, this may not be the right fit.

• Check-In & Check-Out
  Check-in: 4 PM
  Check-out: 11 AM
  Early arrivals or late departures may be possible for an additional fee with 24+ hours’ notice. Last-minute requests can’t always be accommodated due to cleaning schedules.

• Cell Service & Arrival Tips
  There is no cell service at the house. Please enable WiFi Calling on your phone to make and receive calls.
  To ensure a smooth arrival, save or write down the address, door code, WiFi info, and contact details in advance, in case your GPS or signal drops out.

• Pets
  Dogs may be considered with prior approval and an additional fee.
  Sorry, no cats—as much as we love them!

• Hot Tub Notice
  There is a hot tub on the property, but it is not operational at this time.

• Winter Travel (October–April)
  Delaware County is a rural, mountainous area where snow and ice are common in the colder months. For your safety, we strongly recommend:

• AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles

• Winter or all-season tires with good tread

• Avoid 2WD or RWD in snow or rain.
  The driveway is plowed and shoveled to the door, and a shovel is provided for you to maintain safe walkways during your stay. If you're new to driving in snow, check out tips from AAA or other travel resources before your trip.
