Shady Oak sits in a quiet, wooded setting just minutes from downtown West Jefferson — one of the High Country's most charming small towns, known for its art galleries and murals, local breweries, and great restaurants. You're close to the New River for paddling and fishing, Mount Jefferson State Natural Area for hiking and views, and an easy drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. A vehicle is recommended to make the most of the area.

• This home is professionally managed by The Ridge Collection.
• The booking guest must be 25 or older and present for the stay.
• Pet-friendly with prior approval and a $100 pet fee per stay.
• The mountain view is seasonal — fullest when the leaves are down (late fall through early spring); summer offers lush, green, wooded privacy.
• The firepit is wood-burning; please follow all local burn bans and fire-safety guidance.
• Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM; no parties or events. Having more people at the home than your reservation lists requires prior approval.
• Mountain roads can be winding; in winter, AWD/4WD is recommended.
• After booking, please complete our Rental Agreement and House Rules within 48 hours (or before check-in, whichever comes first), or the reservation may be canceled. We'll send the links right after you book.
