Located inside Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, The Salty Rooster is a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath raised beach house that sleeps up to 8 guests. This is the kind of place where you can park the car, unpack your flip-flops, and get straight to vacation mode.

Even better? Your stay includes a complimentary golf cart for qualified drivers 25 and older, so exploring Ocean Lakes, heading to the beach, grabbing an ice cream, or cruising around the campground is half the fun!

And when the beach day is over, the fun doesn't have to stop. Come home, kick back outside, light the fire pit, and enjoy a laid-back Myrtle Beach evening with your favorite people.

THE SPACE

The Salty Rooster was made for families and friends who want plenty of room to spread out while still having great spaces to gather together.

The bright, comfortable living area is ready for movie nights, lazy mornings, and relaxing after a full day at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast before heading out, pack beach-day lunches, or cook a family dinner at home.

With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, there's room for everyone without feeling crowded.

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor features a comfortable queen bedroom, making it especially convenient for guests who prefer not to climb the stairs every time they head to their room.

You'll also find the home's main living and gathering spaces here, including the fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room to relax together.

SECOND FLOOR

Head upstairs to find three additional bedrooms, including the spacious primary suite with a king-size bed, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom.

Start the morning by stepping onto your own balcony with a cup of coffee, or wind down in the evening after another perfect Myrtle Beach day.

The second floor also features two additional queen bedrooms and another full bathroom.

EXCITING CHANGES COMING TO OCEAN LAKES!

Ocean Lakes is making Sandy Harbor even bigger!

Beginning September 8, 2026, the existing indoor pool, outdoor pool, and mini golf area are scheduled to close for construction as Ocean Lakes begins a major expansion.

The new Sandy Harbor facilities are targeted to open by Memorial Day Weekend 2027 and are planned to include a brand-new resort-style outdoor pool with private cabanas, a large climate-controlled indoor facility, a much larger indoor pool, children's splash pool and aquatic play area, two indoor body slides, new food service, and an expanded Game Center.

Ocean Lakes plans to keep other amenities available during construction when conditions permit, but availability and hours can change seasonally and during the construction period.
