Thousand Lake Lodge sleeps 52 near Capitol Reef and Fish Lake across a grand lodge, 3 private suites and 7 cowboy cabins, all reserved for your group. Commercial kitchen, dining room, game room with ping pong, huge private year-round hot tub, lighted sport court (pickleball, tennis, basketball), playground, fire pit, a grill and a Blackstone. Fast WiFi and room for trailers, boats and RVs. Weddings and events welcome with advance approval.

Late fall at Capitol Reef brings crisp days, quiet trails, and dark, starry skies. Hunters can use the lodge as a base camp during Utah's general-season muzzleloader elk hunt (Oct 28-Nov 5), and there's room for the whole crew at Thanksgiving (Nov 26).

‼️SPECIAL NOTES‼️

-Guest verification is required before arrival. This helps ensure a smooth check‑in and protects both guests and the property.
-The lodge, suites, and cabins are cleaned thoroughly and treated regularly, but this is a rural mountain and desert environment. Occasional bugs inside are possible. Despite our best efforts, it is likely that you will find dead moths, flies or other bugs upon arrival, we provide a vacuum for your use to vacuum up unsightly dead bugs. Keeping doors closed and food sealed helps minimize this.
-Wildlife is common in the area. You may see deer, elk, birds, or other local animals around the property.
-The playground includes swings, a slide, climbing features, and other structures. Adult supervision is required at all times.
-Children must be supervised when using the playground, sport court, private hot tub, fire pit, or any outdoor amenities.
-Weather and seasonal conditions may affect outdoor features.
-The private hot tub is available year‑round. Please use it responsibly and follow posted guidelines.
-For your safety and quiet enjoyment, exterior security cameras monitor the property’s entry points and outdoor common areas.
